Healthcare Design with the Clinician in Mind – What Do They Need? A joint Women in Healthcare, Association of Medical Facility Professionals and Nursing Institute for Healthcare Design virtual event!

In 2019 the World Health Organization added the term “burnout” to the international classification of diseases.  Around the same time, studies showed that approximately 1/3 of all nurses and 42% of all physicians in the US reported suffering from burnout… and that was before the global pandemic!

By mitigating the stress on care providers, health outcomes are improved.   As we transition to healthier and brighter days, there is heightened attention and opportunity to support the wellness and resilience of those who provide health care in our communities.  This panel discussion will explore how evidence-based healthcare design can contribute to the well-being of clinicians.
